Interdisciplinary Cerebrovascular Symposium
IntraCranial Stent Meeting
HOME LOGO

Logo Design Concept

This logo symbolizes collective efforts of the medical and engineering professionals who design and create medical devises for controlling the blood flow within intracranial aneurysm.

The whole image of this logo represents β€œthe brain,” with three white streamlines of "the blood vessels. These three white streamlines are arteries which diverge in Y-shape and form the aneurysm in between. The white round image in the middle is β€œ the aneurysm.”

The ring structure illustrated in the center is a stent. When a stent is applied in the cerebral artery, the intra-aneurysm blood flow is considered as bulk flow, according to the simulation image of blood flow in the cross-section of the intracranial aneurysm. Therefore, these separated sections are given fluidal curves. Also, the blood flow is depicted in colors of the simulation image.

Finally, all three sections are the combination of cerebral surgery, flow research, and material research, which represents the concerted effort to cure diseases.
